Mersey

Mersey is a river rising in North West Derbyshire in England. It flows westward 70 miles between Lancashire and Cheshire to the Irish Sea. This river is of great commercial importance, having Liverpool on its estuary. Its chief tributary is the Irwell, on which stands Manchester.
