Mikhail Bakunin

Mikhail Bakunin (1814-1876), also Michael Bakunin, full name Mikhail Aleksandrovich Bakunin, was a Russian anarchist and writer. He was an extreme and violent anarchist, participated in the revolutionary movements of 1848-49 as a leader of some of the movements. He was a native of Moscow, was banished to Siberia, but escaped. He joined the International, but was expelled.
