Milton Babbitt

Milton Babbitt (1916-2011), full name Milton Byron Babbitt, was a US mathematician and composer. He is best known for pioneering electronic music. He developed his musical compositions from the twelve-note system of Austria born US composer Arnold Schoenberg and Austrian composer Anton von Webern.
