Mount Ararat

Mount Ararat is a twin mountain having two volcanic peaks in eastern Turkey. The higher peak has biblical importance because it is traditionally believed to be the site of the resting place of Noah's ark after the Flood (Genesis 8:4). This peak rises to 16,946 feet. The mount Ararat is situated near the borders with Armenia and Iran.
