Muhammad Abduh
Muhammad Abduh (1849-1905) was an Egyptian reformer. He was the most important Islamic figure of the nineteenth century. He was a founder of Islamic modernism and sought to reform Al-Azhar University. He argued for Islamic receptivity to Western science and for a return to Islamic purity.Wisdom & Quotes
