Muhammed Asad

Muhammed Asad (1757-1799), pseudonym Ghalib, was a Islamic writer. He qualified for the civil service, but decided to renounce the world and become a dervish. Eventually became shaykh (leader) of ancient monastery at Gatala in Turkey.
