Naulakha Temple is situated at 1.5 k.m. away from Baba Baidyanath Temple at Deoghar in Jharkhand state of India. The height of the temple is 146 feet and resembles Ramakrishna temple in Belur. Inside it there are idols of Radha and Krishna. It is called Naulakha Temple because it was built at the cost of about nine lakh rupees. This amount was donated entirely by Rani Charushila of Pathuria Ghat King's family, Kolkata. She was said to have left home in grief after the deaths of her husband Akshay Ghosh and son Jatindra Ghosh. She met a saint called Balananda Brahmachari who asked her to construct this temple. It was at his insistance, she got this temple built.
