Neil Armstrong

Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), full name Neil Alden Armstrong, was a US astronaut, who became famous as the first man to set foot on the Moon on July 20, 1969. He commanded the Apollo 11 mission to the moon which provided him the opportunity to land on its surface.
