Nomenclatural Act

Nomenclatural Act is a published act which affects the nomenclatural status of a scientific name or the typification of a nominal taxon available nomenclatural act — one that is published in an available work invalid — any nomenclatural act which is not valid under the provisions of the Code unavailable — one published in an unavailable work valid — one that is accepted under the provisions of the Code ie the earliest available act not contravening any provision of the Code of nomenclature.
