Nripendra Dutta Roy was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born on 1st March 1919 at Medda, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. S/o Late Jogesh Chandra Dutta Roy, was a member of Yugantar party. Arrested 1st November 1932 and sentenced to 5 years R.I. on 7th March 1933. Escaped from Midnapore Jail but recaptured and sebtenced to 2 years R.I. on this count. Deported to the Andamans. Participated in second hunger strike. Repatriated in1937 and released in1939. Total jail period 7 years.
