Oravakallu

Oravakallu is a village in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located at about 25 kilometres from Kurnool town on the National Highway 18. It is known for wonderful natural rock formations around a long meandering body of water. The rocks are formed by silica and quartz. The rocks are shaped by winds and waters.

The formations are stretched in several acres of land and has natural pools of water in their midst. One thousand acre park has been set up here. Fabulous igneous rock formation are not the only attraction here. There is a rock garden in which rock paintings from the paleolithic age found. One of the longest sequence of rock arts of the world lies here.

There are some religious places also, like Hazrat Syed Mahamood Sha Khadri Dargah and Sri Chowdeswari Devi Temple,
