Parcae

Parcae is the Roman name of the three Fates - Clotho (the spinner), Lachesis (the allotter), and Atropos (the inevitable, which is said to be a metaphor for death) - the three sisters in the Greek mythology. The term is derived from "pars," a part, as apportioning to every individual his destiny.

The Roman equivalent of Clotho is Nona ("the ninth"), called upon in the ninth month of pregnancy; of Lachesis is Decima ("the Tenth"), and Atropos is Morta ("the dead one").
