Patricia Schroeder

Patricia Schroeder (b 1940), full name Patricia Nell Scott Schroeder, also Pat Schroeder in short, is a US politician. She is known as a proponent of women's rights, civil rights, and arms control. She represented Colorado in the United States House of Representatives from 1973 to 1997. A member of the Democratic Party, Schroeder was the first female U.S. Representative elected in Colorado.
