PEDAVEGI

PEDAVEGI is a village in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It was originally known as Vengi, which was once a flourishing city.

It was the Capital of the Salankayanas, Vishnukundins and the East Chalukyas and was a flourishing city at the time of Satavahanas. There are ruins scattered all over.
