Poitou
Poitou is a historical region in France. It was formerly a province in France, lying South of the Loire, between the Vienne River and the sea. It passed to England when its countess, Eleanor, married Henry I in 1152. It was taken by Philip Augustus in 1205, and ceded to England again in 1360, and retaken by Charles V in 1369.Nearby pages
