Porahat

Porahat is a place of historical importance in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand in India. Once it was the capital of Porahat Raj. It is now reduced to a village, which once as headquarter of Porahat Raj, was the centre of activities for the whole Raj which was extended over a large part of the district.
