Probodh Kumar Ray was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born December ,1908 at Putiyana, Mymensingh , Bangladesh. S/o Late Rasik Ranjan Roy. Went underground in June 1930. Arrested in Saldah Action 31.10.1930. Sentenced to 7 years prison term on 10.09.1931. Deported to andamns in Aug 1932. Participated in First hunger strike. Total jail period about 8 years.
