Raja Maidam

Raja Maidam is a vault in Jorhat district of Assam in India. It lies on the south bank of River Tocklai on the northern side of Jorhat town.

The vault is of the last Ahom king, Purandar Sinha, who died on 1 October 1848. The present maidam was constructed to preserve the ashes of the last Ahom King Purandar Singha.
