Rajghat in ((Delhi)) is a memorial of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, more popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation (India). The simple square platform of black marble on the banks of the river Yamuna marks the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. His last words ' Hey Ram ' are inscribed on this platform which is surrounded by a serene garden.
