RAKAS TUNGRI is in Palkot block of Gumla district in Jharkhand in India. "Rakas Tungri" in local dialect means the "hill of demon". This is a part of Pampapur Mountains. This hillock is situated at the foothills of the bigger mountain range of Pampapur. It has a religious importance for Hindus. It is believed that this is the place where Bali of the Ramayan had killed the demon Dundubhi. The sign of blood and arrow are still present there in various natural forms, people believe.
