Ralph David Abernathy

Ralph David Abernathy (1926-90) was a US politician, civil rights activist and a minister. He was president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) during 1968 and 1977.

He also wrote his autobiography under the title And the Walls Came Tumbling Down which was published in 1989.
