Ramkrishna Mission Vidyapeeth is in Deoghar district of Jharkhand in India. It was established in 1922 with the objective of imparting modern education combined with the values of our ancient culture in the lines of the ancient Gurukula. Here education is imparted as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda: "We want the education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one is able to stand on one's own feet."
