Ranadhir Das Gupta

Ranadhir Das Gupta was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1910 at Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Kabraj Jayanta Das Gupta. He was a college student when participated in the assault on the armoury and fought a pitched battle on the Jalalabad hills with the Army on 20.04.1930. He joined the second hunger strike in Cellular jail, and repatriated in September 1937. He was released in December 1937. His total jail period was about 8 years.
