Rapid Rural Assessment

Rapid Rural Assessment (RRA) is a procedure for gathering and analyzing information about community socio-economic conditions preparatory to making development decisions. Community participation is a priority in this procedure. It is also called “Participatory Rural Assessment” (PRA) or “Rapid Coastal Assessment” (RCA) if the rural area is in coastal belt.
