REDOUBT KALI

REDOUBT KALI, a Russian fort on the E. coast of the Black Sea, 10 m. N. of Poti, once the chief place for shipping Circassian girls to Turkey; captured by the British in 1854. Now it is called 'Redut Kale', modern Kulevi in Georgia.
