Religious Tract Society

Religious Tract Society was a society founded in 1799 for the circulation of religious works in home and foreign parts, which published in 220 languages, and was conducted by an annually elected body, consisting of four ministers and eight laymen in London. It merged in 1935 with the Christian Literature Society for India and Africa, and in 1941 incorporated the Christian Literature Society for China. It was then renamed United Society for Christian Literature.
