Rene Maran
Rene Maran (1887-1960) was a Martinican writer, poet, novelist an biographer. He authored a famous book Batouala, the first book by a black writer on blacks written for Western literature. He was the first black writer to win the French Prix Goncourt in 1921.Wisdom & Quotes
