RICHARD HARRIS BARHAM (1788-1879), his literary name Thomas Ingoldsby, born at Canterbury, minor canon of St. Paul's; friend of Sidney Smith; author of "Ingoldsby Legends," published originally as a series of papers in 'Bentley's Miscellany'.
