Rutherglen

Rutherglen is a town of Lanarkshire, in Scottland, on the Clyde, 3 miles South-East of Glasgow, of which it is practically a suburb. There is a handsome bridge that spans the river. It has been a royal burgh since 1126, and has interesting historical associations.
