Sachindra Nath Sanyal
Sachindra Nath Sanyal was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1893 in Varanasi. He was son of Harinath Sanyal. In 1907, he joined Anusheelan Samity. Seven years after in 1914, he was arrested as accused in Benaras Conspiracy Case. Subsequently, he was sentenced for life and deported to Andamans jail. His house was confiscated by the British. However, he was released in 1920. He was a founder member of Hindustan Republican Association (H.R.A.), also Hindustan Republican Army, in 1924. He was arrested on 25.02.1925 in Calcutta in connection with Kakori train Action and again given a life sentence. In prison, he caught T.B. and released in 1937. He was again arrested in 1941 but being a T.B. patient was released and interned in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. He died on 7th of February 1942.Nearby pages
