SAHARANPUR

SAHARANPUR is a town in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. It headquarters a district of the same name. It is located 125 m. N. of Delhi, in a district formerly malarious, but now drained and healthy; the dominant population is of Mohammedans, who have built in it a handsome mosque.

It was formerly in the North-West Provinces during British India.
