Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams (1722-1803) was a zealous promoter of American independence, who lived and died poor. He was one of the signatory of the Declaration of Independence 1776.

This US patriot was one of the leaders of the Boston Tea party in 1773, and served in the First and Second Continental Congress during 1774-75.
