Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz, also St Croix or Saint Croix, is one of the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea. It is a county and constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an unincorporated territory of the United States. Its capital is Christianstadt. It was ceded by France to Denmark in 1733. A a serious nigger revolt took place in 1878. It was taken over by the US in 1917. It produces sugar, rum, and cotton.
