Satya Ranjan Ghosh was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born in 1912 at Basail, Mymensingh, Bangladesh, s/o Durga Das Ghosh. A member of Anusheelan Samity at the age of 15. Arrested in February 1932 in connection with Charpara action, Tangail and convicted for 7 years by a special tribunal and deported to Cellular jail.Took part in second hunger strike.Released in 1938. Arrested and detained under D.I.R. rules from 1940 -1945. Total jail period more than 10 years.
