Scot

A Scot is a native of Scotland or someone of Scottish descent. A member of the Gaelic people who migrated from Ireland to Scotland in the late 5th century is also called a Scot.

A scot is also a payment made as any assessed contribution, such as tax. However, the use of this term in this sense is considered archaic.
