Seng-tsan
Seng-tsan (c. 520 - 606), also also Seng-ts'an, was one of the great personalities of Dhyana school of Chinese Buddhism. We know a little about the real life of this Chinese Buddhist monk, the third patriarch in the Dhyana School of Chinese Buddism. However, there are many legends about his life. At the time of Buddhist execution in China, he feigned mental illness to save himself from execution during the Buddhist persecution and went into hiding for ten years. His major work is Hsin-hsin-ming. It is one of the earliest Chinese Zen texts.Wisdom & Quotes
