Sennaar

Sennaar, also Sennar, is city in Sudan. It headquarters a district of the Eastern Soudan, for several centuries it was the capital of the Funj Kingdom, and until at least 2011, Sennar was the capital of Sennar State. It lies between the Blue and the White Nile, situated on the Blue Nile, 160 miles South-East of Khartoum.
