SILGHAT

SILGHAT is in Nagaon district of Assam in India. It is located at about 48 km from Nagaon town by road. There is a river port lying on the south bank of Brahmaputra. Pre-communication links of Central Assam across the Brahmaputra are maintained through this port town.
