Singpho is a tribe. In India, this community lives in Arunachal Pradesh, a state of the Indian Union.
Singphos in India represent a section of the Kachin tribe of Burma. They live on the banks of Tengapani and Noa Dehang rivers. They are agriculturists and expert blacksmiths. The women-folk are good weavers.
They follow Buddhism but at the same time believe in a host of spirits.
