Charles Grey
Sir Charles Grey (1728-1807), the First Earl, was a British soldier. As Sir Charles Grey of Howick he distinguished himself in the wars with the American Colonies and the French Republic, and in 1804 was rewarded with a Barony, and two years later was made Earl Grey.Nearby pages
