Sir Kingsley Amis

Sir Kingsley Amis (1922-95) was a famous English novelist and poet. He was also a critic, and a teacher. His notable works include Lucky Jim (1954), The Old Devils (1986), The Folks that Live on the Hill (1990), and You Can't Do Both (1994).
