SIR WILLIAM JENNER

SIR WILLIAM JENNER (1815-1899), an eminent physician, born at Chatham; held several professorships in University College; was physician to the Queen and the Prince of Wales; discovered the symptoms which differentiate typhus from typhoid fever.
