Somasila Dam

Somasila Dam is in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is one of the biggest Irrigation Project in the District.

It is constucted across River Pennar and is situated near Somasila Village of Ananthasagaram Manda in Nellore District. It is located in eastern ghats situated at the outskirts of the district.

There is a temple in the village called Someswara Temple blessed by Lord Siva, on the other side of River Pennar an Ashram is situated.
