ST. BRIEUC

ST. BRIEUC is a seaport and an episcopal city in the dep. of Côtes-du-Nord, France.

It is the capital of the dep. of Côtes du Nord, Brittany, on the Gouet, and 2 m. from its mouth; has a 13th-century cathedral, ruins of an interesting tower, lyceum, &c.; at the mouth of the river is the port Le Ligné.
