Sukreswar Temple

Sukreswar Temple is in Kamrup Metropolitan district of Assam in India. It is located at Sukreswar, a place which derives its name from Sage Sukra who is said to have resided and worshiped Lord Shiva at this place.

The temple is famous for housing the sixth Jyotirlinga.

The present temple was built by the Ahom King Pramatta Singha, in 1744.
