Sushil Kumar Dey

Sushil Kumar Dey was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born on 17 October1908 at Dhorala, Saraatoli, Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Sharat Chandra Dey. He joined Revolutionary party in 1923. In 1928, he was arrested in connection with a shooting case and set free after 7 months. He took part in removal of railway lines on 18.04.1930 and European Club Raid on 30.10.1933. He was arrested at kanungopara from a house with rifle wounds. His family had to suffer much and the property destroyed after Assanullah Action from 1930 April till his arrest during which he remained underground. He was sentenced to 7 years RI. He was released in 1939. He was externed from Chittagong. His total jail term was more than 9 years and underground 2 years.
