Guptkashi is in Uttarakhand state of India. There is a famous Vishwanath temple. This temple is surrounded by many shrines. The famous among them are - __Sri Ganesh__ Sri Ganesh, the son of Lord shiv is at the main doorway of Vishwanath temple at Guptkashi. __Sri Ardhnarishwar__ On the North of Vishwanath temple at Guptkashi, there is abode of Ardhnarishwar. The idol here is half man and half woman and is made of stone. The shape of man is believed to be Lord Shiv and the woman is believed to be his wife Parvati. __The Kund__ In front of the Visshwanath temple at Guptkashi, ther is a famous Kund (pond). Gomukh and Gajmukh streams along with the offered water in the temple flows to this Kund. People take holy bath in it and then visit Lord Shiv. Devotees also offer whole coconut as Guptdan (offering something without anyone's knowledge).
