Terre-Haute

Terre-Haute is the capital of Vigo County, Indiana, in the United States. It stands on a plateau overlooking the Wabash, 178 miles south of Chicago. It is situated in a rich coal district, and has numerous foundries and various factories. It is well equipped with schools and other public institutions.
