Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is an annual national holiday in North America to commemorate a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrims in 1621.

It is held on the fourth Thursday in the month of November every year in the United States. However in Canada, it is held on the second Monday in October every year.

Religious observances are made on this occasion. A traditional meal is also served during the celebrations.
