The Acropolis

The Acropolis is the ancient citadel at Athens in Greece. It is located on a high rocky hill commanding the city of Athens. It includes several important buildings including the Parthenon built long back in 5th century BC. It contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance.
